The restaurant we ate at felt like I was in New Orleans. The music was nice and low but filled thr atmosphere. There is plenty of space to eat. Two bars for when it gets busy. Big tables, booths, as well as outdoor space. The people here are friendly. The service is nice. Food is made pretty quickly and still very delicious. We had raw and baked oysters. Blackened Fish with Mac and cheese and Tator Tots. Crawfish with rice. The drinks were pretty okay too. I would definitely come again to have a taste of New Orleans.

I’m from New Orleans, and I have to say, whoever is cooking the blackened catfish now needs to stay forever. Lol. I’ve become a regular, and I usually order the same dish. I tried the gumbo and crawfish a couple of years ago and didn’t care for them, but the red beans and rice and the blackened catfish were decent back then. These days, It’s much more than decent. This is the second time I’ve come in recently, and the fish was so good. Whoever is back there definitely deserves a raise. Lol. I’m actually considering giving the gumbo and crawfish another try. There’s also one server/cashier who never leaves me waiting, which I really appreciate. && Even though I only dined in once, the outdoor atmosphere still seems like a great little vibe. Wouldn’t mind sitting out there with a daiqurie.

This is the only authentic Cajun food outside of New Orleans my husband and I ever found. And I lived in N.O. 3 years and he lived in Baton Rouge before we met. We tried many around the country and all duds. The crawfish Etouffe is masterful. Soft shell crabs, red beans and rice, gumbo. You and your palate will be delighted! Prices are great. Service the best! Jenny, Jay, Jimmy. All pros. Don't forget to tip Gene the shshocker! A super friendly bar.

I had the Cajun soup and the shrimp and grits, and honestly… wow. The Cajun soup had that perfect kick — spicy but not too much — and it was packed with flavor. Every bite felt warm and comforting, like something made from scratch with real care. And the shrimp and grits? Unreal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly — juicy, a little smoky, and seasoned just right — and the grits were creamy and buttery in the best way. The whole dish just came together beautifully. You can tell the people in the kitchen really love what they do. I left full, happy, and already planning when I can come back.
